Parents stop calling the office to ask where the bus is. The crew shares the bus from their phone during each trip, and everyone sees exactly what they need.
Safety and privacy
Tracking a school bus means handling where children are. These rules are built into the product, not left to settings.
The bus location is shared only while a trip is running. Before and after, nothing is tracked.
A parent sees only the buses their own children ride. Nobody can watch another family's bus.
Drivers see children's names and classes, never parents' phone numbers. The attendant sees phone numbers for their own bus only.
Each trip's location trail is kept for 30 days, long enough to answer a question, then removed.
A bus day
The driver starts the trip. Parents get the start alert with the expected time at their stop, then a near-stop alert before the bus arrives.
The attendant ticks each child as they board. When the bus reaches school, parents are told and the trip ends by itself.
The drop trip runs stop by stop. Parents see the bus coming and get an alert when their child is dropped.
