Patashala360 started because the software a budget private school can afford usually cannot be trusted with its accounts, and the software that can is priced for a different kind of institution.
What we set out to fix
Most schools we spoke to were running on a mix of registers, three spreadsheets and one person who knows where everything is. It works, right up until that person is on leave in the middle of fee collection week.
The alternative on offer was usually one of two things. Software cheap enough to buy but careless enough that a payment could be entered twice, or a term's attendance could silently disappear at year-end. Or software good enough to trust, priced for a school ten times the size.
We decided to build the careful version at an affordable price. Every module listed on this site is built and ready to use today, except the apps marked as launching soon.
Where we are
We are based in Siddipet, Telangana, and we build for Indian schools first, including the details that get skipped when a product is adapted from elsewhere: fee structures that change per class and per family, transport fees tied to a bus stop, and an academic year that runs June to May.
We work closely with every school we take on, because we would rather support each school well than sell widely and support nobody. If that suits how you want to adopt software, we should talk.

Rules belong in the software
If a rule only exists as a reminder on a screen, someone will break it one day. Patashala360 applies the school's rules everywhere, on the office computer and on the phone.
Mistakes must be reversible
A wrong payment gets reversed, not overwritten. A wrong promotion gets rolled back. Software that cannot undo its biggest operation is software your staff will be afraid to use.
We say what is not there
This site lists what is built. If you ask us about something we have not built yet, you will get that answer rather than a nod and a timeline.
