1. Who this page is for

Anyone with a Patashala360 login: parents, students, teachers and other school staff, whether you sign in on the web application or, once it launches, the Patashala360 app.

2. How to ask

• Ask your school office. The school can switch off a staff or student login straight away. For a parent login, the school passes your request to us and we switch it off.
• Or write to us at hello@patashala360.com with the subject "Account deletion request". Tell us your name, your school, whether you are a parent, student or staff member, and the mobile number or email you sign in with. If you do not write from that email address, we call the registered mobile number to confirm it is you.

3. What happens next

• We confirm your identity and inform your school within 7 days.
• Your account is deleted within 30 days of your request, and you are signed out on every device.
• We email or call you to confirm when it is done.

4. What is deleted

• Your sign-in account: login ID, password and signed-in sessions.
• Personal details held only for your account, unless your school must keep them for its records.

5. What is kept, and why

Some records belong to the school and must be kept by law, for example a student's admission record, attendance, marks and fee receipts. These stay in the school's records after your account is deleted, for as long as the law requires, and are then deleted. If you want any of these removed as well, ask your school, which decides under the law. When a school stops using Patashala360, all of its data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.

6. Deleting some details without deleting your account

Ask your school office to correct or remove specific details, or write to us at the address above and say which details you want removed.
